My favourite film is called labyrinth. I really like it because it is such an imaginative film and is all about being lovely and making friends - whats not to like?! And also because there are some truly beautiful scenes. For example, one of the last scenes there is this room. The Goblin King puts the main characters baby bother in this room that has several staircases however the normal laws of gravity do not apply. She is stuck in one plane whilst her brother is in another. It is based on a picture by M.C Escher which is also a really interesting exploration of dimension. I printed out a copy for my wall!
Heres a video of the scene, on reflection it looks a little bit crazy in isolation but in the film it seems pretty normal... Don't judge!
